Escort De Pijp:market streets,late tables
De Pijp is Amsterdam's Latin Quarter, or so the locals like to say. Tall 19th century blocks, a daily street market, a bar on nearly every corner.
Young, busy, a little loud. The kind of neighbourhood that is still ordering food at eleven. A strong group of our companions lives right in the middle of it.

On Call In
De Pijp
07 based right here. Short ride, sharp arrival.
Getting your bearings
The Albert Cuypmarkt is the spine, running along Albert Cuypstraat from Monday to Saturday. Sarphatipark is the green square where everyone ends up on a warm evening. Ferdinand Bolstraat carries the trams, with De Pijp metro station underneath. On the northern edge, along Stadhouderskade, the old brewery building pulls in the tourists by day.
Between the market and the park, Eerste van der Helststraat is lined with cafés and small restaurants that stay full until closing. Gerard Douplein and Marie Heinekenplein are where the terraces spill out after dark. To the east the Amstel bends past, and the RAI convention centre sits a short ride south.
Where visitors stay
De Pijp has fewer big hotels than the centre and far more character. Design-led hotels sit along its edges, on Stadhouderskade and toward the Amstel. Inside the grid you find apartment rentals and small guesthouses above shops. Business travellers in town for the RAI often stay just south of here.
In a big trade fair week, rooms around the RAI go fast, and so do evenings. If you are in town for one, message earlier than you normally would.
Apartment bookings are common in De Pijp and completely welcome. Send the full address, the floor, and anything she should know about the front door.
How fast she gets there
Inside De Pijp, the hour is comfortable. With companions based locally, the bottleneck is usually getting ready, not the journey. The metro under Ferdinand Bolstraat and short taxi hops put the rest of central Amsterdam close as well.
Market days and summer nights on the squares slow cars down. Nothing dramatic. Give an exact address and keep the chat open when she is close.
Staying right above a busy bar? Mention it. Weekend nights on the squares run loud until closing, and she needs to know which door is yours, not the one with the queue.
The De Pijp evening
This is the neighbourhood for going out first. Small plates at a crowded counter. A cocktail bar with a DJ in the corner. One more drink on a terrace until the staff start stacking chairs. Then home, which is never far away.
It is also the least formal area on our map. Jeans and a good jacket work fine here, and the right companion matches the energy rather than the dress code.
Match the mood. Molly lives for house music and craft cocktails. Luna is bold and independent, equally at home at the theatre or in a wine bar. Rosa is earthy and easygoing, a record collector who knows her galleries. More local names are below, and everyone is on the girls page.
Next door: Oud-Zuid starts just across Hobbemakade, and Amsterdam Centrum is a short ride north. Prices start from €180 per hour.
